Objective To explore the effect of the flow clinical experiential teaching on the empathy ability of junior nurses in operating room. Methods From January 2022 to May 2022，38 junior nurses in the operating room were conveniently selected as the research objects. Flow clinical experiential teaching was carried out through empathy-related theoretical training and clinical practice，clinical practice experience guided by cases，and the creation of visual real clinical situations to train the empathy ability of junior nurses in the operating room in an advanced way. The Jefferson Scale of Empathy-Health Professionals was used to measure the empathy ability of nurses before and after the intervention. Results Nurses’ scores of empathy were（95.45±5.20） before the intervention and（112.79±4.63） after the intervention，and the difference was significant（P<0.05）. Conclusion The flow clinical experiential teaching could improve the empathy ability of junior nurses in operating room.
