The construction of specialty groups is an important starting point for vocational colleges to strengthen the connotation construction，which can strengthen the characteristics of running schools，deepen the integration of production and education，improve the quality of personnel training，and enhance the ability of social science and technology services. Based on the analysis of Jiangsu Medical Vocational College’s promotion of “medical health” and “combination of medical care and nursing” talent training reform，the logic of building nursing professional groups for the health care industry chain has been put forward. Then，the logic of the group from the talent training plan，curriculum system and teaching resources，teaching methods，teaching teams，training bases，and social services were explored and explained. The group logic of nursing specialty groups will provide useful support for the construction of “full life cycle，whole process of health” serving the people，and contribute to the healthy China strategy.
