Abstract

Objective To investigate the current status of amount of physical activity, kinesiophobia and exercise self-efficacy in patients with coronary heart disease, and to analyze the mediating role of exercise self-efficacy between kinesiophobia and amount of physical activity. Methods Convenience sampling was conducted with a total of 276 outpatient review patients with coronary heart disease admitted to the department of cardiology in a Grade Ⅲ level A hospital in Ganzhou city,Jiangxi Province from December 2020 to March 2021. General data questionnaire,Physical Activity Rank Scale,Tampa Scale for Kinesiophobia Heart,Exercise Self-efficacy Scale were employed. Results The total score of physical activity, kinesiophobia and exercise self-efficacy in patients with coronary heart disease was(17.58±14.09),(36.32±5.04),and(54.10±26.03),respectively. Exercise self-efficacy played a part of mediating effect between kinesiophobia and physical activity(β=-0.263,P<0.01),and effect ratio was 49.94%. Conclusion Patients with coronary heart disease hold a low level of physical activity. Kinetophobia can directly affect the physical activity of patients with coronary heart disease, and can indirectly affect the physical activity through exercise self-efficacy.
