Abstract

Objective To explore the hotspots and trends of the development of operating room nursing from 2015 to 2021 and provide reference for the discipline research and nursing management. Methods The co-word cluster analysis was used to analyze the literature of operating room nursing in PubMed,Ovid,Embase,EBSCOhost databases from 2015 to 2021 via BICOMB and gCLUTO software. Results A total of 834 articles were included.Articles mainly concentrated on 7 aspects, including cooperation in robot operations, evaluation and clinical training of nurses and students in the operating room, interdisciplinary cooperation in operating room and professional attitude, occupational exposure protection, mental health of medical staffs, optimization of nursing quality and work flow process, and patient safety and implementation of standard and guidelines. Conclusion Research hotpots mainly focus on multidisciplinary cooperation, advocate the precise cooperation of emerging surgical methods, pay attention to the mental health of medical staff and nursing education, focus on patient safety and emphasize the standardization of nursing management. The co-word cluster analysis is helpful to understand the research status and development trend of this field and provide reference for clinical and scientific research and teaching work in the operating room.
