The influence of environmental factors and depression on activity participation for stroke patients in the community
Objective To investigate the current status and influencing factors of activity participation level of stroke patients in the community. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 262 stroke patients in 4 community health service centers in Zhengzhou using the general information questionnaire,the Measure of Stroke Environment,Patient Health Questionnaire Depression 2-Item Scale,and WHO Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0. Results The total score of WHO Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0 of stroke patients was（66.73±19.98）. Environment factors and depression could account for 58.2% of the total variation of activity participation. Conclusion Environment factors and depression are the important influence factors for activity participation of stroke patients.
