Objective To explore the effects of a cardiac rehabilitation training based on interactive theory of goal attainment in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention（PCI）. Methods A total of 71 patients treated with percutaneous coronary intervention were selected and divided into the interventional group（36 cases） and the control group（35 cases） according their ward number. Patients in the control group received routine health educa-tion and cardiac rehabilitation exercise instruction. Patients in the interventional group received cardiac rehabi-litation training based on interactive theory of goal attainment. Patients’ cardiac rehabilitation knowledge,aerobic exercise endurance,self-management ability and quality of life before intervention,1 month after intervention and 3 months after intervention,were evaluated between the two groups. Results Repeated measure variance analysis showed that before intervention,1 month after intervention and 3 months after intervention,the self-management ability score,cardiac rehabilitation knowledge score,aerobic exercise endurance score and quality of life score had interaction effects between group and time（all P<0.05）. Simple effect analysis showed that the all outcomes in the experimental group were better than those in the control group after 1 month and 3 months of intervention（all P<0.05）. Conclusion Cardiac rehabilitation training based on the interactive theory of goal attainment can increase the knowledge of cardiac rehabilitation,improve the aerobic exercise endurance,improve the ability of self-management,improve the quality of life and promote the realization of rehabilitation goals of patients after PCI.
