A review of related factors and prevention and treatment of primary catheter allotopia

Abstract

This paper reviewed the relevant factors,prevention measures and treatments of primary catheter allotopia. The causes of primary catheter allotopia were analyzed. Method of correcting the catheter position was pointed out. Several suggestions were proposed including choosing the best insertion route,choosing the visual catheterization method to promote accurate positioning, rational selection of catheter delivery skills, and strengthening the training of venous therapy specialty nurses to improve their catheterization experience.
