The certification for the wound,ostomy and continence nurses in America
This article provided the certification information of Wound,Ostomy and Continence Nurses （WOCN） in America. It mainly focused on the agencies of the certification,specialty direction,training contents,application conditions,certification examination,and certification processes. We expect to provide suggestions for the certification of WOCN in China from the aspects of unifying and standardizing the certification institutions,constructing a feasible training system for specialty nurses and a long-term mechanism for recertification by combining the information and experience with our national practice.
