Application of health education based on question classification in patients with Parkinson's disease

Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of health education based on question classification of inpatients with Parkinson's disease. Methods Eighty patients with Parkinson's disease admitted in a Neurology Department of a tertiary hospital from January 2017 to January 2018 were recruited and divided into the control group and the experimental group. Patients in the control group received routine health education. Patients in the experimental group received health education based on question classification. After intervention,the disease uncertainty,anxiety,depression and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results After the intervention,the scores of disease uncertainty,anxiety and depression of patients in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group（P< 0.05）. The quality of life score in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group（P< 0.05）. Conclusion The health education based on question classification effectively improve the uncertainty of disease,anxiety,depression and quality of life of patients with Parkinson's disease during hospitalization.
