Objective To explore the effects of a repeated test in the knowledge training of infection prevention and control for healthcare professionals in the fever clinic and isolation wards of coronavirus disease 2019（COVID-19）. Methods The healthcare professionals in the first branch of a hospital who supported fever clinics and isolation wards were assigned to the control group. They received the training through traditional teaching method including online learning and offline teaching. The healthcare professionals in the second branch of the hospital were assigned to the experimental group and received a repeated test training. The test scores after the training were compared between the two groups. Besides,the satisfaction rate in both groups was investigated. Results After the training,the scores of the experimental group and the control group were（95.26±3.74） and（89.46±5.08） respectively. All the healthcare professionals were qualified. The training satisfaction rate in the experimental group was 96.0% and that of the control group was 84.8%. Conclusion The repeated test can effectively improve the knowledge level of infection prevention and control of healthcare professionals in the fever clinics and isolation wards. It can help ensure the safety of patients and medical staff,which is worthy of promotion and application.
