Objective To explore the effect of anesthesia nurse training in Nanjing. Methods Twenty two nurses of anesthesiology department in Nanjing were trained，including one week of public basic courses（40 class hours），four weeks of professional courses（176 class hours），and seven weeks of clinical practice. Finally，the evaluation results of nurses and the satisfaction level of training were evaluated. Results After training，the scores of theoretical assessment of nurses were higher than that before training，the difference was statistically significant（t=2.690，P=0.012），the operation and practice assessment were up to the standard level（>80 points），and the overall satisfaction of nurses for training was 94.8%. Conclusion The training of anesthesiologists in Nanjing can effectively improve the knowledge and skills of anesthesiologists，and lay a foundation for establishing a scientific and systematic training model of anesthesiologists，which is worth of promotion.
