The current status of barriers to and influencing factors of evidence-based nursing in nurses with master degree

Abstract:

Objective To investigate the barriers to and influencing factors of evidence-based nursing in nurses with master degree. Methods By convenience sampling,104 nurses with master degree were surveyed with The Barriers to Research Utilization Scale(Barriers Scale) and Developing Evidence-Based Practice Questionnaire(DEBPQ). Results The score of Barriers Scale were 65.31±20.70,which was 47.80±16.77 calculated on a centesimal system. The score of DEBPQ was 3.08±0.24. Conclusion The level of Barriers to Research Utilization of nurses with master degree is on the mild level. Influencing factors such as limited time and resources,and inadequate skills of searching and evaluating evidence hinder the practice of evidence-based nursing.
