Abstract:

Objective To construct a post competency evaluation index system for nurses in assisted reproduction department. Methods The competency iceberg model was employed as the theoretical framework. Through literature review and semi-structured interview, the first draft of the competency evaluation index system of nurses in assisted reproduction department was constructed. After that,Delphi method was applied with 20 experts from 13 provinces and cities across the country for two rounds of consultation. The weights of indicators at all levels were calculated with the analytic hierarchy process. Results The effective recovery rates of two rounds of correspondence were 100%(20/20). The expert authority coefficients were 0.898 and 0.900,respectively. The Kendall harmony coefficients of total indicators were 0.318 and 0.346 respectively(P<0.01). The final evaluation index system consisted of four first-level indicators,15 second-level indicators and 56 third-level indicators. Conclusion The competency evaluation index system for nurses in assisted reproduction department holds good reliability and applicability, which can provide reference for the training and assessment of nurses in assisted reproduction department.
