Methods Based on the construction of a family-centered resourcefulness training intervention program, a to-tal of 106 patienls recevied fixed follow-up in the Department of Nephrology in our hospital were selected by con-venience sampling from January to December 2021. Participants were divided into control group and experimentalgroup by random number table method, with 53 patients in each group. The control group got routine nursing care, while the experimenlal group got routine nursing combined with family-centered resourcefulness training intervention. The levels of resourcefulness, fear of disease progression, and peritoneal dialysis stigma were compared before andafter intervention betwcen the two groups. Results Afier the eighl-week of inlervention, tlhe lotal score of resource-fulness in the experimental group was(85.17±16.48 ), which was higher than that of the control group(73.87±18.45), and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05 ). Besides, the total score of fear of disease progression in theexperimental group was(33.85+4.72),which was lower than that of the control group(37.1515.36), and the differencewas statistically significant(P<0.05). In addition, the total score of stigma in the experimental group was(56.87±16.66), which was lower than that of the control group (64.09±16.65), and the difference was slatistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The family-centered resourcefulness training can effectively improve the resourcefulness level ofpatients with peritoneal dialysis, and reduce the level of fear of disease progression and peritoneal dialysis stigma.
