Abstract:

Objective To understand the current status of flow experience of nursing simulation trainings in undergraduate students. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 715 nursing undergraduates in a medical college by the Skill Operation Process Fluency Psychological State Evaluation Scale,the Student Satisfaction and Self-confidence in Learning Scale,and the Simulation Design Scale. Results The score of flow experience of nursing undergraduates during nursing simulation training was（130.53±22.73）. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that grade,preferred learning style,satisfaction and self-confidence,teaching information and objectives of the course and students’ problem solving ability were the influencing factors of flow experience of students during nursing simulation training（P<0.05）,which could explain 37.9% of the total variation. Conclusion The flow experience of nursing undergraduates during nursing simulation training is at a medium level. According to the ability and interest of nursing undergraduates,optimizing the curriculum design of basic nursing simulation training and increasing nursing students’ satisfaction and self-confidence are helpful to improve their flow experience.
