Abstract: Objectives To construct evidence鄄based practice program of enteral feeding implementation process
for critically ill patients based on guidelines in order to ensure the effective implementation of the guidelines in
clinical practice袁promote the scientific and standardized implementation process of enteral feeding and nursing for
critically ill patients. Methods In this study袁we used the Johns Hopkins evidence鄄based nursing implementation
and transformation model as a guide.Baseline survey was performed to establish clinical issues and an evidence鄄
based practice team was built to retrieve袁screen袁appraise guidelines and review criteria and methods. Obstacles to
implementation of guidelines were analyzed based on review results after baseline review and the corresponding ac鄄
tion strategy was formulated and made concretely. Eventually the evidence鄄based practice strategy was developed
and fit for clinical situations. Results This study included 5 guidelines袁and the program contents included evalua鄄
tion of the risk of enteral feeding and nutritional status in critically illpatients袁etc. Conclusion Constructing an
evidence鄄based practice program based on guidelines can provide reference for standardizing the enteral feeding
