Reflections on nursing students’ education in higher traditional Chinese medicine universities

This paper systematically reviewed the development of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） nursing and summarized the current status of TCM nursing talents cultivation in China. It suggested focusing on the education of top-notch TCM nursing students. Two key measures were proposed：first，consolidating academic education to provide a solid foundation for the education of top-notch TCM nursing students；and second，promoting further education to collaborate with academic education. The aim was to provide a reference for the education of TCM nursing.
