Research progress of role evaluation based on role evaluation framework for advanced practice nurses

In recent years，advanced practice nurses have developed rapidly. However，there were inconsistencies in their role evaluation. Reasons were possibly associated with the lack of theoretical framework to guide the evaluation of the role of the advanced practice nurses. This paper reviewed the concepts，categories，role evaluation frameworks of advanced practice nurses and the current status of its application in role evaluation，so as to clarify the role value of advanced practice nurse and to promote the development of advanced nursing practice in China.
