A review on disease fear in epilepsy patients

This article reviews the concept，current situation，causes，assessment tools，and influencing factors of disease fear in epilepsy patients，in order to provide a reference for further research. At the same time，it suggests that medical staffs should pay attention to the disease fear of epilepsy patients，strengthen its evaluation，and take targeted interventions to increase the patients’ own motivation for health behavior management.
