The management of float nurse in American hospitals and its implications to the management of multiple-sites nurse practitioners in China

Float nurses are early adopted in the United States. The practice of float nurse has shown that float nurses setting is a solution to the shortage of hospital nurses. This paper introduced the admission management,personnel management,training management,nursing quality control and salary management of the float nurses in American hospitals. Suggestions were proposed to provide reference for the implementation of multi-site nurse practitioners in China.
