Design and development of a virtual simulation experiment in nursing——taking natural delivery as an example

The virtual simulation experiment project combines the information technology with the experiment teaching project,expands the experiment teaching contents and increases teaching time. It can achieve the resource sharing which has a certain value in the modern nursing experiment teaching. The paper took the natural delivery as an example to introduce background of the project selection and the design of the project. The project completely showed the natural childbirth delivery process by using a case. The key steps during the delivery process were integrated in the project and multiple technologies were also used. Students were encouraged to practice the project repeatedly. Thus,students’ comprehensive abilities were improved from various ways. Limitations and prospects are proposed as the reference for other similar virtual simulation experiment teaching projects of nursing in China.
