Abstract:

Objective To explore the knowledge, attitude, and practice(KAP)of pulmonary rehabilitation exercise in COPD patients. Methods From December 2019 to June 2020,a total of 540 COPD patients in a tertiary hospital were selected by convenient sampling. A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the KAP of pulmonary rehabilitation exercise in COPD patients. Results The patients had a good knowledge of blowing balloons and bicycling and the rates were 88.9% and 86.7% respectively. However, the rates of attitude and behavior were generally low. 45.6% of the patients could persist in carrying out lung rehabilitation exercise. Only 38.9% of the patients had the plans to make lung rehabilitation training. Conclusion There are many deficiencies in the knowledge, attitude and practice of pulmonary rehabilitation exercise in patients with COPD. Clinical medical staff should pay attention to the poor compliance of pulmonary rehabilitation exercise, and strengthen health education for patients to improve compliance.
